The filter is treated with two kinds of antibacterial agents, SILVADUR 930 FLEX added to the high-efficiency filter layer and PHMB sprayed between the activated carbon layer and the high-efficiency filter layer prevents the growth of bacteria, mould, such as escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and mildew attached to its surface that may cause unpleasant odours and discolouration. The antibacterial rate is tested to be more than 99%.
